surviving earth change<\/strong>
\nchoose for life<\/em><\/p>\n

looming in our future
\nare super-volcanoes, killer asteroids
\nglobal plagues, climate change,
\net cetera
\nall could bring to fruition
\ndisruptive variations of earth change ~
\nwhat will we do about these threats
\ngive up, give in,
\nas well as feel guilty
\nabout what
\nshould of\u00a0 ~\u00a0 could of
\nbeen done
\ntherefore resigning ourselves over
\nto pity\u2019s burden and apathy\u2019s reign<\/p>\n

some say don\u2019t worry, there\u2019s really
\nnothing we can do; why not ignore it
\nand if such things would happen at all
\nit\u2019s doubtful it\u2019ll occur during our life<\/p>\n

others on high infer,<\/p>\n

we them masses ain\u2019t
\nsmart enuff to change nuttin
\nand us peoples
\nno ways gonna change,
\n\u2018cause we keep doin\u2019
\nlike we always do<\/p>\n

“you can take that to the bank<\/em>”<\/p>\n

well\u00a0 ~\u00a0 in spite of
\nwhat the politician
\nor even some preacher
\nor that
\nwell-educated intellectual
\nand scientist claim\u00a0 ~\u00a0 I say
\nbull-pucky,
\njust yous wait a sec
\nand in the way my common,
\neveryday grandpa used to say,
\n\u201cyous pert near had me a thinkin\u2019<\/em>
\n in a way, heaped full of feelings<\/em>
\n and paralyzing fears<\/em>\u201d
\nI nearly forgot about sound reason<\/p>\n

just because the THEY
\nsay it is so
\ndoesn\u2019t mean
\nall things said by THEM
\nare right or is
\nthe only way to follow
\nor become \u00a0~
\nand the hell
\nwith that screwed up
\nguilt trip thing
\nliving is hard enough
\nto waste energy
\non the blame game
\npointing our finger
\nat one another
\nlet us use
\nour mind to reason
\nlet\u2019s use
\nour ability to question<\/p>\n

who gave us humans
\nsome kind of guidebook
\nrevealing every step of the way
\nabout living
\nthat would guarantee
\nour ongoing survival
\ncome on now
\nwe gotta stay open-minded
\nabout the facts
\nwhat was
\nhow it happened
\nas experienced
\nwhen we and those
\nof the past lived them<\/p>\n

let us think
\nand let\u2019s remember<\/p>\n

didn\u2019t we the people
\ndo what \u00a0~
\nwhat we had too
\ndidn\u2019t we survive, live adaptively
\nhumanizing our chances by novelty
\ncreatively bettering our lives
\nthrough much toil, blood, sweat
\nand yes through tears
\nnot just as other life
\nwith pure brawn
\nwhere the strong
\nshall survive
\nbut we also
\nused our brain
\nwhich is so, so fully
\ndemonstrated
\nby way of our technology\u00a0 ~
\nlike in the past, so in the future
\nwe the people
\ncan and will survive
\nearth changes
\nif we want too \u00a0~
\nif we the people
\nwork in a proactive way
\nstruggle
\nthrough tireless effort
\nwithin our shared
\nthinking process
\nnot so unlike, we humans
\nhave had to do
\nso many times in the past
\neven if different
\nregarding the circumstances \u00a0~
\nif we the people
\nface it head on
\ndetermined to go on
\ndespite
\nwhatever
\nthe earth change
\npresenting itself before us
\nwe together,
\nyou and me
\nwithin our cooperative
\nlived experience
\nsharing a common purpose
\nof survival
\npressing on as one
\na proactive oneness
\nemerging a sort of
\nspiritual bond
\nspirited on
\nby the connectivity
\nof our interactions
\nour interrelationships
\nilluminating the benefit
\nembedded into
\nour interdependence
\ninherently
\nembodied\u00a0 ~
\nentwined
\ninto our evolutionary
\nprocess of life
\nthat desire to live on\u00a0 ~
\nsurvive
\nno matter what\u00a0 ~
\nif we the people
\nhelp each other
\nand then within such a spirit
\nif we the people
\nby way of our cooperative acts
\nengaging the help of our government
\npartnering together\u00a0 ~
\ncreate a more freely accessible
\nand affordable living environment
\na living environment shaped around
\nproven concepts and practices
\nthose of energy\u00a0 ~
\ninformation\/education\u00a0 ~
\ntransportation\u00a0 ~
\nhealthcare and housing\u00a0 ~
\nconcepts and practices
\nwhich create employment \u00a0~
\nsatisfy supply and demand \u00a0~
\nstabilize the economy\u00a0 ~
\ninhibiting chaotic conditions
\nfrom materializing within the people
\nwherein \u00a0~\u00a0 along the way
\nduring the lived experience
\nof such a cooperative process
\nthat of human betterment
\nand empowerment
\nwhile expanding our Nature\u00a0 ~\u00a0 IQ
\nwe the people
\ncan give birth to
\nintelligently perceptive insights
\ninsights,
\nintelligently applied
\nwith innovative technologies
\nif we the people
\nmutually ~ within an
\nintelligently progressive
\nlearning process
\nyes\u00a0 ~\u00a0 we together,
\nyou and me
\nlearning to implement
\nour insights with technology
\nin conjunction with proactive
\nprimary and alternative
\ncontingency planning
\ncontingency plans
\nneeding to be preparatory,
\npreventative, flexible
\nand transitional
\njust the right amount of\u00a0 ~
\nmitigation and adaptation
\nscientifically
\nformulated around
\na more holistic understanding
\nof the universal processes
\nregulating all Nature
\nas a whole system
\nnot just the earth\u00a0 ~<\/p>\n

~\u00a0 for instance
\njust an example
\nif we prepare now to adapt
\nby focusing on the right things
\nwhen climate change occurs
\nlaying fallow our fields
\nour so-called bread basket
\na land of waste
\nfrom the effect of draught
\nwe convert the land
\nletting go of its
\nonce thought of purpose
\nplanting
\nno longer tilled rows
\nwith seeds of solar panels
\nproviding then\u00a0 ~
\na supplemental energy source
\nwhich would grow
\npermanent jobs around
\noperation and maintenance
\nfeeding the economy
\nkeeping it stable
\nhelping to satisfy
\nsupply and demand
\nwhile helping to prevent
\nblackouts and shortages
\nwithin the primary
\nsource of energy
\nin the process of evolving
\nfrom fission to fusion<\/p>\n

~\u00a0 and in like mind
\nproducing similar results
\nhow \u2018bout
\na self-sustaining
\nBucky Fuller type
\ngeodesic dome-housing
\nfor the people
\nto live and prosper
\nbecoming more resilient
\nto the drastically disruptive
\neffects of whatever
\nmanifestation of earth change
\neven if\u00a0 ~\u00a0 such abodes
\ndue to a changing environment
\nneed to be constructed
\nand transitionally adjusted
\nredesigned to fit
\nthe current circumstance
\nupon or below the land
\nabove or within the waters
\nor in the sky
\nor if necessary
\norbiting the earth
\nand even beyond
\noffering an alternative option
\nfor an ever-expanding populace
\noverflowing with opportunity
\nand adventure that could lend to
\nthe preservation\u00a0 ~
\nthe survival of our kind<\/p>\n

wherefore \u00a0~
\nwithin the mitigation
\nand even more so
\nthe proactive adaptation
\nof we the people
\npartnering with our government
\nto reinvent, create and develop
\nconcepts and practices
\nlike these\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n

beholden to the hope
\nand the faith
\nwithin the spirit for life
\nwe can and shall survive
\nsomehow, somewhere
\neven if, all seemingly
\nabove and beyond
\nso far from what
\nwe together,
\nyou and me
\nmay now know
\nbut still, right there
\nbefore us all
\nto fight for and obtain<\/p>\n

only if\u00a0 ~
\nwe the people\u00a0 ~ \u00a0humanity
\nchoose not only to live
\nwe together ~ you and me
\nshould also choose for life
\noffering our children and their
\nchildren\u2019s children
\nthe choice to live and go on<\/p>\n
