\nbe willingly to
\nmove toward the future
\nunited
\nas one
\nwhere we
\nset aside our differences
\nbecome team players
\nto acheive an all important
\nand imperative objective
\nthe survival of humanity
\n~
\n\u2026..
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth
\ncan no longer afford to be
\noverly sidetracked
\nin trying to change each other
\nto fit some unrealistic ideal
\nwhere everyone
\nneeds to become the same
\nthis nationalistic clone
\n~
\n\u2026..
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth
\nmust also stop being
\nso absorbed in pointing
\nthe finger of blame
\nwith those proclamations
\nthat pass judgment
\nfor the ills of the world
\nlike little childern
\ntattle telling
\non schoolmates
\nto the teacher
\nwhile avoiding
\na measure
\nof self responsibility
\nfor the matter at hand
\n~
\n\u2026..
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth
\nmust shift our energies
\nconcentrate our focus
\non the bullseye of the target
\nthose things on the horizon
\nwhich threaten
\nhuman existence
\nby proactively preparing
\nfor how to live on
\nas a species
\nfar\u00a0 ~\u00a0 far beyond
\nwhatever obstacles\u00a0 ~
\nthose being cast before us
\nbe it by demon
\nthe angry gods
\nNature
\nor even ourselves
\nin the form
\nof the ill-informed mob
\n~
\n\u2026..
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth
\ncan do it
\nin spite of
\nany threats
\nthat try to wreak havoc
\nto human wellbeing
\ndespite what
\nmay materialize as
\nterroristic
\nviolent
\noppressive
\nor chaotically disruptive
\nnot only for us
\nbut all the living
\nwhether it does so
\novertly, tenaciously or subtly
\nhidden in camouflage
\nover\u00a0 ~ \u00a0time
\n~
\n\u2026..
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth
\nmust keep close to our heart
\nthe words to that song
\nused through the years
\nto reflect the positivity
\nof our attitude
\ntoward our struggle
\nour endurance
\nwe unitedly must sing…..
\n“We Shall Overcome<\/em>”
\nWe the people shall
\n“walk hand in hand<\/em>”
\nas one “we are not afraid<\/em>”
\n~
\n…..
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth
\nas we find strength
\nto push forward
\nin the remembrance
\nthe history
\nof our resiliency
\nby way of adaptation
\nwhere transition
\ncame about
\nafter much struggle
\nthrough effort
\nin our way of thinking
\nwe learned
\nwithin our experiences
\nfrom a process of
\nintelligent progression
\nwe transformed ourselves
\ndue to the circumstances
\nto endure and survive
\nthe dynamic landscape
\nof those times
\n~
\n…..
\nyes that was
\nand still is us
\nnow and into the future
\nthe human-kind
\nWe the people<\/em> of the earth<\/p>\n
