begin to heal ourselves<\/strong>
\nresponsible for our desti<\/em>ny<\/p>\n

from the bottom of my heart
\nwith every ounce
\nof my soul ~ my spirit
\nyearns for
\nworld healing
\npeace ~
\nequality
\nand prosperity
\nfor the people
\nby the people
\nis the only way
\nsuch a happening
\nwill ever come to be<\/p>\n

~ simply said
\nbut not so
\neasy to do ~
\n~ we the people
\nall as individuals
\nuniquely contributing
\nour gift ~
\nour willpower
\nworking together
\ncooperatively
\nand steadfastly
\nwith a purpose ~
\nare the architects
\nthe initiators
\nthe idea creators
\nthe planners
\nthe laborers
\nthe result makers
\nresponsible for our destiny<\/p>\n

~ \u2018cause
\nthat\u2019s the way it is
\nin Nature ~ the physical
\nthere ain\u2019t no shortcuts
\nnor some quick fix ~
\n~ our thoughts
\nour voices through word
\nand art ~
\ncan and will raise
\nsocial awareness
\n~ have an effect upon
\ncollective consciousness
\nand yet ~
\nour thoughts
\nour words
\nare not enough
\nwith thought and word
\nthere needs to be ~
\nthe act ~ the deed
\nthe no quit attitude
\nand determination
\n~ despite
\nthe perceived
\nthe feared
\ninsurmountable
\ncan\u2019t see beyond
\nthe struggle
\nthe hate
\nthe greed
\nthe violence
\nthe intolerance
\nthe bias
\nthe inequality
\nthe suffering
\ntype of conditions
\nthose odds
\nstanding in the way
\nof attaining the prize
\nblurring our ability
\nto bring change ~
\n~ if we want
\nworld healing
\npeace ~
\nequality
\nand prosperity
\nfor the people
\nby the people
\nthen you and I
\nthrough word and thought
\nacts ~ deeds
\nmust make it come to be ~<\/p>\n

~ we the people
\nhumanity
\nmust create a world
\nto help ourselves
\nthus as one
\ntogether
\ncooperatively
\nlet us
\nbring about
\nthe environment
\nto do so ~
\nsupport the development
\nthrough innovative ideas
\nand technologies
\na freely accessible
\nand affordable
\n~ energy source
\n~ information \/
\neducation
\n~ transportation
\n~ housing
\nand health care<\/p>\n

~ so humanity can start
\nbegin
\nto heal
\nourselves
\nthen afterwards ~
\nthe world
\nand possibly beyond<\/p>\n
